Wheelchair Accessibility 

Please note that all wheelchair users will receive a 5% discount on the room rate for the first two nights and then a 10% discount from the 3rd night onwards. 

The Ground Floor wheelchair accessible room is called The Clive of India (See Accommodation on the home page). It more than complies with UK national grading M4(3). 

Upon arrival you have a dedicated parking area for your sole use which leads directly to the extra wide guest entrance door via a gently sloping ramp. On entering the step free ground floor there is a 12m2 foyer/reception area from which you can access all the ground floor guest facilities that are all wheelchair accessible, including the dining room. 

Your bedroom facility comprises a 36m2 bedroom and wet room (See Gallery). In the bedroom you will find a fridge for your medication and cold drinks. There are full tea/coffee making facilities and a 32” flat screen TV. In the large wet room there is a portable shower chair and there are grab rails beside the toilet and in the shower area. 

Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. 

This room is also dog friendly (See Dog Friendly on home page). Assistance dogs for Blind/Deaf guests stay FREE. 

What we feel is special about this room is the high quality of furniture, fixtures and furnishings providing a home away from home ambience.

News Flash 

We hope in 2019/2020, should we be successful in our applications, to provide 3 detached holiday houses for self-catering. We understand there are lamentably few fully wheelchair accessible/accessible for all self-catering holiday houses and we hope to address this issue by building these custom houses which will more than meet the UK national regulations M4(3). Please see our applications submitted in February 2018 under Bomere Heath Planning Applications numbered 18/00543/FUL and 18/544/OUTLINE. Once built these will provide lovely views over the village cricket ground on one side and over the Shropshire countryside on the other taking in the beautiful sunsets. Should you be interested in renting them in the future please contact us.
